1) Read Ch 34 Sections 4 and 5 for Wed/Thurs April 10th/11th
On April 18th/19th be ready to turn in a brief description and share the following.
2) Ask your parents (or other relative) if anyone in your family was affected by WWII. Were your grandparents in the service? Did your family move because of the war, for instance, maybe come to the West Coast or to Portland to work in war industries? How about a neighbor, or family friend? Have you ever seen family mementos, medals, WWII memorabilia, or family pictures of people in uniform? Next week we’ll talk about how WWII affected Americans, (including Portland and Lincoln High School).
